I'm a User Experience Researcher at Google Health. Before moving to San Francisco, I did my postdoctoral work in Dr. Tim Brady's Vision and Memory lab at the University of California, San Diego, and received my Ph.D. from Johns Hopkins University, working with Dr. Jon Flombaum.
I am primarily interested in investigating the structure and content underlying visual cognition and memory. My research program derives from the fact that visual memory does not operate in a vacuum, but interacts with and is supported by other cognitive systems. By utilizing an interdisciplinary framework, I have identified several ways perception, working memory and long-term memory constrain and support one another.
